When we purchased our new LG television it came with remote control that you would have expected to turn on the set when you touched the button and turn off in similar fashion. It never did even turning itself on and off when no one was in the room. This replacement seems to work as you would expect which is refreshing except for the need to purchase a replacement in the first place.

Im very happy with my new remote. The pointer make it so much easier and quicker to navigate through the apps and typing in the titles. I cant wait until they come out with one that has a back light on it. Ill be the first buyer. #LifesGood

Other knock offs dont work as well spend the money for the name brand in this case. Sadly my Disney + button still wont work and communication with theyre customer service is a bit difficult.

I bought this remote because it has an Alexa button on it and you can control your smart home or TV with this function. It is really useful to use the voice command to control channels find movies and many other things such as turn on and off the TV. It has a pointer so you and choose items with this function.

This remove came with our LG OLED TV which we love. It died for no apparent reason out of the blue after about four months. Batteries replaced online FAQ troubleshooting all useless. The pointer is also extremely awkward to manoeuvre. The best feature was the Disney+ and Netflix buttons since those are what we use most.

I bought it to replace one that I could not find for my new tv. The older LG remotes do not work with the newer TVS. This is my fourth LG tv and I think they are the best value for the money. I try to keep up with the changing technology and improvements in picture quality. I have a 55 65 and 86 currently. The smaller ones are in bedrooms and the larger is in the family room. The 65 is a C1 and has the best picture quality but the 86 is just a little less rich in color and true black. Everything is wireless so no cable and works just fine. Specifically with the remote it makes it very easy to operate the tvs and get from different services like prime to Netflix or youtube

The remotes buttons are becoming more and more unresponsive and requiring me to press harder and harder just to get the input. Ive taken the remote apart to see if it was maybe dirty or damaged I couldnt see anything wrong with the board the membrane or the plastic casing. Ive just come to the conclusion its a quality control issue that myself and many others have. I also find it very disappointing that there isnt another option for replacement besides purchasing a new remote.

I bought the LG OLED65C1PUB 4K Smart OLED Jan of 2022. Just over a year old and the middle button of the remote works sporadically. Its not a matter of pressure. It just sometimes will work with the slightest touch and other times it will not. I had to buy a pre-programmed LG universal remote to get by but it is not as nice as the original. Would love a new one since I already had to buy a generic LH remote to get by.

Been just over a year with the lg c1 paired with this remote . Seems like most of the buttons especially the power button are not very responsive anymore. To turn the tv on or off I have to press the button super hard. All the buttons you use most are starting to die it seems. The navigation circle left right up down has the same issue. Have to press the button like 3 times to get it to move. Not the quality I expected with the premium price I paid for the tv. Disappointed. Oh and fresh batteries for not make any difference.

Buttons are confusing doesnt light up. No differential in the shape of the buttons so you cant ergonomically choose a button. Absolutely horrible. Im sorry we bought a LG tv and weve purchased these TVs for over a decade. Please make the old remote compatible. Listen to your customers. Dont ignore our feedback.

ponter never is aligned so it can point straight Must align it constantly. Hard to figure out all the functions on the keys Doesnt have a back light so you can see it in the dark Cant get 2 remote pointers to work simotaineously. When using 2 remotes have to re-register the one in use constantly.

Absolutely hopeless remote extremely difficult to use as no back lighting and all buttons are hard to distinguish the difference.every time I have to make any adjustment I have to turn on a light. And because of the difficulty using it I would not recommend to buy the tv.

This piece of garbage came with my LG TV a year ago it has never worked properly and is getting progressively worse. none of the buttons on the left side work unless you squeeze the down so hard you can hear the case cracking and the battery cove pops off. I have taken it apart and can find no obvious defects or miss alignments and out of the case the raw board contacts work effortlessly put it back together and I have to use pliers to make the left direction Butten activate. I have purchased LG TVs exclusively for years now and have an older version of the same remote on my old LG OLD tv that works fine and has for years. such a shame

I have a 65 evo c2. The picture quality is the best ive ever seen. the TV webos is great also. However the remote controller is horrible. Not very user friendly. HAs all these hidden features that could have been put on single buttons. Maybe when I get used to it it will get better. Also I have 2 remotes 1 for me and 1 for my wife so we dont have to through the remote back and forth to each other. the problem is I cant get the pointer to work on both remotes simultaneously without re-regeristing the remote in use? I have put in a support request. All and all I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with the TV and its functions.

The remote was included with the tv that I purchased. The basic functions are ok. However everything else is terrible. I have all of my components running through an av receiver and there is no way to use it as a universal remote. I assume this is b/c there is no IR compatibility. The lack of one-push activity buttons is also disappointing. I would never purchase this remote especially for the listed price.

I have the television with the remote approximately one month now I am unable to enjoy the features as theyre much too complicated I have watched 4 YouTube videos to learn still on able to get the wonderful features that are supposed to be available to work. It would be helpful if they had a printed manual one instructions the PDF file does not give any instructions on how to use an set up direct tuning etc. the PDF just shows what each button is supposed to do but not have to set anything up extremely unhappy the TV looks great but the remote control is so much more complicated than the one that came on my previous four year old oled LG 65 inch curved TV

I purchased this remote to get the maximum use of my LG smart TV. It has many great features that the original remote for the TV did not have. I love almost everything about it except for the fact that sometimes the voice recognition does not seem to want to work very well. Also and this may be user error the trackball is overly sensitive. Otherwise a great product

Better have the lights on in the room to use this remote theres no using it by feel or backlit buttons. You cant fast forward and tons of scrolling options are impossible to use. Im giving up and going to try a universal remote. I cant understand why they think this is a viable option. Look at the terrible ratings.

I was told by LG Support that the remote that came with the 50 UQ7570PUJ tv needs a majic remote to be ablt to use just one majic remote for all remote needs. Problem is I now need a 2nd remotes to change the Verizon Xfinity channels. When pairing the MR to the tv a message appears saying Remote is not supported by this tv Can you recommend a good LG universal remote that will also change my Xfinity channels ?

Light on remote stuck on glitchy menu bar stuck on screen have un-paired and re-paired power reset replaced batteries you name it and nothing works. Remote is CACTUS. The process of getting help isnt easy and was just told to get new batteries? Im not a numpty I tried that already Along with every other conceivable fix. Now I have to purchase a new remote for my 6 month old TV that cots thousands of dollars. Thumbs down LG Thumbs down.

Like the LG channels the only thing Im a little frustrated with is the cursor that pops up on my screen I read the directions and it said the press the down button and itll go away but it comes right back.
