    Broken right out of the box

    Drier shut down and had trouble codes the 1st time it was used. Ultimately it ended up being a sensor in the unit but getting it repaired thru LG was a major fiasco Hours spent on the phone with them disconnected calls they even forgot about me on hold once for 45 min and then even transferred my to home depot for some reason......I bought from Lowes Between the hours lost on calls the major aggravations multiple service tech visits the inept customer service reps i will not be buying anymore LG products. That said now that the drier is repaired it works great.

    We bought this electric dryer back in December. The paint on the inside of the dryer on the drum is falling off in our clothes when we dry them. LG will not take responsibility for their faulty product. Absolutely incompetent company and service.

    Dont like the light on the circular control panel. The light trails which makes it a bit difficult to know which setting is lit if the dryer does not sit on a pedestal. Also dont like that there is no interior light. Never seen a dryer without an interior light. This should be listed in advanced of purchasing the product.

    Dryer woes after two years

    I actually love this dryer its settings and electricity usage but I am downgrading the review since something has failed after 2 years of regular use. It may be the rollers causing it to make a terrible sound. My last LG dryer took over 14 years for the rollers to fail so 2 years seems unreasonable and LG wont help with the repair. Disappointing.

    Our nearly 30 year old washer and dryer finally gave out. Through a consumer agency these LG appliances were recommended. We couldnt be happier Everything gets cleaned and dried twice as fast and is so much more energy efficient and especially water efficient which is a must here in the dry West We got front loading appliances because the vtop load washer was too tall for our space. Over the long run it will be interesting as to how much time money and energy we save

    My old set died. I started at Costco but they werent able to deliver the model I wanted even though it was featured as a monthly special. This dryer matches the washer I settled on.     Replaced our 13 year old washer/dryer with the LG models and are very happy with the new ones. The dryer has many features to customize the drying process for various items and so far they all perform well. Very happy with the purchase.

    Basic dryer. Not energy efficient.

    I purchased this dryer in December 2022 with an estimated delivery date just days later. My credit card was charged in December but my dryer was not delivered until 2 months later in February. The warranty is effective on date of purchase not install so I have lost 2 months of warranty. LG will not extend the warranty unless I purchase an extended warranty. The dryer is very basic and works well if you dont use the energy saving feature. Clothes remain damp and must be cycled multiple times if using the energy saving feature. Very little lint is produced in comparison to my previous dryer. The dryer has no internal light and no drying rack. My customer service experience was horrible.

    But having to go online to access the meaning of the button is ridiculous. The manual details leveling installing how to connect to the internet WHO would do THAT with a dryer????? but not what all those buttons mean. Or how to turn off the lock function if it ever gets activated. VERY frustrating. And I would not have got this dryer if Id known what a hassle it was to use. For even the simplest function. Despicable.

    Peeling paint

    After 2 years the white paint on the inner drum of the dryer is peeling. LG is aware of this problem and refuses to do anything to make this right. Besides the peeling paint the dryer has performed very well.
