    Great appliance. Our old LGT was over 10 years old so time to upgrade and boy what an upgrade. Love the Wifi feature that tells me when the door is open when it starts/stops clean the filter etc. Very quiet with virtually no vibration. Would definitely purchase again but hopefully will have many years of excellent service.

    Careful when buying LG

    The brand is all over my house for other great experiences I had. This time I cant say the same. The dryer is not even a year old and have developed a rusty spot inside the tumbler. I bought extra warranty with BestBuy but they didnt help fix it so my grievances are 1st with BestBuy and then with LG. LG is now replacing the tumbler drum but I still need to pay for the technician to service the installation. I only wanted a new and great product and ended up with a headache and spending more money.

    Great features but needs some work

    We bought both the Washer and Dryer at the same time. They work really well but I am not so sure about the built in intelligence. The dryer never over drys the cloths and the choices seem fairly well programmed. Now all the positives being said here are my issues. The WiFi needs some work. Complicated to set up and once if dropped off line and it took a 20 minute call to LG to get it back online. There are very little to NO instructions on the process for using the Steam Function. I tried it and the clothes came out damp. And lastly the rubber gasket between the door and the dryer box is constantly needing to be cleaned as the seal must not be fully sealing and an accumulation of lint and debris is constantly building up. Other wise we truly like the dryer. I paid full price for this unit.

    Stopped heating 3 weeks after warranty expired

    New to all LG Products 1/27/2024

    Dryer stopped heating 3 weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. $350 repaired it. Sad this happened especially this soon after the warranty expired. No other issues but its only slightly more than a year old

    We just purchased this dryer and are loving it. Uploaded the WiFi so can tell when the dryer finishes which helps to get the clothing out quick so there is less wrinkles. The look of the machine is wonderful. It is very friendly to use.

    Steam Dryer that really works

    I am enjoying my new LG dryer. I purchased the pedestal for storage and height. I like the different modes of drying available. I really like the two steam functions. They actually work Clothes are refreshed and the steam sanitary setting is fantastic for pillows The only thing I dont like - lint forms on the bottom rubber of the door panel. This lint requires a wet cloth to clean. And I wish I could change the tunes to a song I like.

    The steam function hasnt worked since purchased and it is not the result of installation or the water supply line. Also having a difficult time getting warranty service. As for the warranty claim process it is horrible. Also notice little difference between heat settings. All are hot except for the lowest and there isnt an air only setting. Lastly a substantial amount of lint gets past the lint tray and is very difficult to clean out where it accumulates under the tray. On a positive note it is nice looking

    Two years old and already having problems

    Its only a two year old unit and had damage to it that wasnt covered by the manufactures warranty. LG has also conveniently discontinued producing the unit I bought so parts for it dont exist anymore. This company was not helpful when I needed help with a problem and eventually needed to replace a part. It doesnt help that there isnt anyone in my area that can service this brands machines.

    I bought this dryer as a floor model at Lowes. I got a good deal on it. Dryers are pretty basic machines. Your clothing goes in and flop around in hot air until the moister sensor or timer tell it to stop. Its the steam and smart features that make this a great machine. I like that it talks with the washing machine to get the right setting after a load is done. I also like the steam function which I use to freshen up clothes that really dont need to be washed. I have the machine connected to Alexa so it announces when the drying is done. That really helps keep the washing and drying production moving. The back pressure sensor is very sensitive and notified me my vents were clogged. After I cleaned the vent piping it still told me my vent was still partially blocked. After doing a better inspection I found the roof vent was clogged shut with lint. Thats pretty sensitive calibration on that machine. The app is also great at reminding you to clean the screen and gives you load counts plus energy consumption. The audio diagnostics is great too. No more looking up codes after pushing a series of buttons.

    Faulty board and switch after just a year.

    We purchased this just over a year ago and had the board and door switch go bad. The drum would spin non-stop until breaker was shut off or the dryer was physically unplugged. I called support and was told the dryer was out of warranty. We were quoted $99 for a diagnostic fee then parts/labor would be on top of that diagnostic fee. If you buy one make sure you get an extended warranty because it will likely fail shortly after a year. Aside from that it does an ok job of drying clothes. Some clothes need 2 cycles. Some wrinkle pretty heavily. I would not purchase again myself.

    We bought this dryer as a set with the matching washer. The connectivity between the two machines is amazing and the dryer presets the settings based on what you washed in the washing machine. Also we are able to get notices on Alexa and our phones when the cycle is done so we can move loads along quicker. Having a large family with lots of laundry to do makes this feature amazing.

    Purchased top of the line front end washer and dryer. The dryer was not working properly after installation. This failure could have possibly damaged the dryer due to excessive heat build up in the dryer. Your tech person Samuel repaired the dryer preventing a possible fire in the unit. Your presidential team rep failed to get back with me regarding the issues.

    I love my LG clothes dryer. There is such a variety of options depending upon the type of load I have so I can fine tune exactly how long and how hot I am drying. Since I purchased it Ive laundered my king-sized comforter and quilt which the dryer handled very well. I was impressed by how quiet the machine is. It makes it possible for me to do laundry in the evening without disturbing others I live in a condo building. I know I am going to enjoy it for many years to come. In additiion to the drying features I really love the black steel finish. It is very modern looking and it definitely does not show fingerprints. I wish all my other appliances had this finish.

    Purchased 4 months ago specifically to wash quilts bedspreads and throw blankets. Three to four blue jeans also wash well. Clothes come out clean with very little pre-stain treatment necessary. Like the Bright Whites setting and other settings to choose from.
