    Ive had nothing but issues with this model. Compressor went out 2 years ago. This past August 2024 it developed a leak and after several attempts to fix it was deemed unrepairable.

    I wouldve given this a 4 or 5 star rating but I had this fridge less than a year and had to have the compressor and fans replaced and that took a month to repair and multiple phone calls to LG. Overall the fridge is nice and now that it is fixed we like the fridge. We just wish it made more ice and bigger ice cubes.

    I bought this Refrigerator 4 years ago. French doors are closing with a clunk. Now only 4 years later the compressor is noisy the freezer compartment is not cooling well ice cream turned to milkshake. Called Lg service got a work order to Sharper Image Solution they have NOT repaired my Fridge yet require a new work order but the existing one one is not completed. Been on the phone for hours with LG and Sharper NonsolutionMy first phone call to LG was on 24 September 2024 now what? The Saga will continue.

    Im really frustrated with the fridge I purchased. Its not even been a year and Ive already had to get it fixed three times. To make matters worse the customer service has been incredibly unhelpful and lazy. Every time I reach out it feels like Im just being passed around without any real effort to fix the underlying problem. Its been a disappointing experience overall.

    I liked My Older LG Better

    The new design of the control panel is terrible. You have to keep switching to ice from water. On the older model you didnt have too. Also it has three drawers which allowed you to open them without opening both doors. Also two freezer drawers mean less space. This new model is made cheaper and cost more. LG also owes me money back as well. They didnt use the installation kit because I already had a stainless steel water because I was replacing a LG refrigerator but charged me anyway.

    Worked for less than 5 years then after be repaired twice under warranty its broken again . LG decide to refund not the total of course . That store credit was approved and thats suppose will be ready to be use after 24 hours of approve and has been one week and the store credit is still not availed to be use . Thats meant that I haven had the chance to buy a new refrigerator for more almost 3 weeks. Calling everyday to get that refund and nothing . The worst situation ever

    This refrigerator failed under warranty. LG had technician come out to repair THREE TIMES and still never got it working. LG Customer Service is a call center in some far away land. Every I called them which was many I was always on the phone for more than 30 minutes... most of that time I was put on hold. The LG customer service about the worst Ive ever experienced. On top of this the LG stove failed just outside of warranty. The LG dishwasher is a terrible performing product. At least the LG microwave still working... knock on wood. Do yourself a favor and stay away from LG

    Im really impressed with this refrigerator. Ive had zero issues and thats the way it should be. Only complaint is with the ice maker. If not used regularly the ice has a tendency to thaw slightly and stack up on 1 side. I have to open it and break the stack in order to dispense ice. Other than that its been a great appliance.

    We love our refrigerator weve had an issue with the motherboard and now the compressor LG was right on the motherboard at no cost and I am not sure what the compressor will cost yet. But they were very quick to get the repairs moving forward. We never want issues but nice to know they are very supportive when there is an issue.

    LG products only lasted me five years

    Five years ago I purchased all LG appliances. Worst mistake of my life. Since then Ive had to have my dishwasher repaired at least four times and the whole bottom rack is rusted. As far as my refrigerator. Ive had to have that repaired three times in the most recent right now my compressor has gone on the refrigerator and by the time I could get an appointment its been three weeks now without a refrigerator. LG did cover the compressor but its costing me $600 for the repair. I will never buy an LG product again and have been letting friends and family know.

    We bought the full LG line up for our new house and this fridge has been the lemon of the group. There have been multiple repairs even more failures and lots of spoiled food. Even when it did work well we would still need to buy bags of ice because the ice maker could not keep up with our family of four. It did not make it three years. We are very disappointed with it.

    Fridge worked great until it didnt. 6 years from purchase date and it stopped cooling. The compressor is done and there is no one in our area that will repair it. I can wait a month for Sears Appliance Repair to charge me $1k to fix a $2k fridge but going without a fridge for a month is unreasonable.

    Will not purchase another LG refrigerator again.

    I bought the refrigerator about a year and a half ago and within the first year I have had a repair technician out to repair and replace parts three times. I have just recently had a repair technician out for another time for a repeat problem to replace a part that has already been replaced Insane to think that they would not consider this a lemon and replace the refrigerator by now. Instead I am left with a broken brand new fridge

    This fridge broke 5 months ago and LG has yet to fix it. They have sent 3 technicians out and the fridge is still broken. I am currently fighting to get a refund for the repairs I had done because no one was able to actually repair it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON LG.

    I am so sorry I brought LG appliances. Brought my appliances in 2018 when we remodeled refrigerator gas range diswasher and microwave. Loved the look but that is all it turned out. Compressor on refrigerator went out in 2019. Had it repaired. In 2024 just five years later compressor has gone out again. Will not be replacing compressor again just to have it go out again. I need something dependable and LG refrigerators are not worth the price you have to pay for them or dependable. Went through two microwaves before I finally realized they also were not dependable. Dishwasher also stopped working. Never again will I buy LG appliances. Cant even get serviceman willing to work on LG Appliances.

    We bought four new LG appliances and in less than one year three stopped working. We were without our refrigerator for 10 days the microwave for 4 days and a technician talked me through repairing the dishwasher. Needless to say these will be the last LG appliances we ever buy and we also will never buy appliances from Best Buy. Delivery was a nightmare and we were promised compensation for our troubles but never received anything.

    Weve had our refrigerator for 6 years with no problems. Then the compressor that has a WARRANTY for 10 years failed and the refrigerator started warming. We were going on vacation in three days and LG could not send a technician out for two weeks. Finally found a local LG certified company to come out two days later. They replaced the WARRANTIED compressor for $600 no charge for the compressor the charge was for 1 1/2 hours of labor. Luckily we were able to save some of the food. Thanks for nothing LG.

    The never ending repair date.

    I have been trying to get an appointment to repair my new refrigerator. I have been called several times trying to give me the same date that I have told them I wouldnt be able to be home. Then everyday for the next couple days. Each time trying to make the same appointment. Then I get something in an email telling me that their canceling my repair. Im still waiting on a phone call to get a repair date.

    Ten year warranty

    I purchased my refrigerator 6 years ago. The compressor stopped working. Since it is over 5 years old the replacement part is free but the labor is estimated at $1200. If it is a ten warranty why should I pay for labor? Therefore it is wise to purchase a new refrigerator.

    I bought this 6 years ago. It broke on me twice in the last year and a half. The customer service is great but I lost about $3000 or so in food so I bought a different fridge. I hated that since I really loved the look of the fridge. Unfortunately it dont like to work.

    Poor Customer Service

    Would Never Buy LG 4/5/2024

    Broke after 3 years of using bought it at the end of 2020 price for this exact fridge increased over $1000. LG will only reimburse for $2235.61. This was part of a matching complete set of kitchen appliances. This is now $3199 before taxes. If we want this exact fridge replace we have to pay out of our own pocket over $1000 to keep the matching fridge. LG stated since it was older than 2 years they cant replace the exact fridge. Our fridge broke March 1 2024 we purchased from Big Sandy they came 3 times since it is now April 5 2024 we have gone without a fridge. We lost 2 fridge fulls of food due to Big Sandy fixing the fridge and it broke less than 48hours later. No one has offered to the groceries we have lost twice and now we will have to pay more money to get the same fridge. I have also missed 3 days of work for Big Sandy to come out. I own an LG dishwasher LG microwave LG stove LG refrigerator Lg big screen TV LG washing machine and an LG dryer. We have been loyal LG customers and will not purchase another LG product or recommend LG products.

    So far I really like the refrigerator. The space inside is adequate. My only qualm is the adjustability of the door shelves. Which is not really an issue. Also using the ice plus feature actually makes ice slower.

    I bought this Fridge in 2019 and it has been a great purchase. I love that the ice maker is in the door and does not take up space in the main part of the box. The unit has run great until 1 month ago when it stopped cooling. I had bought a 3 year extended warranty on the unit but it expired. I was ready to purchase another same model but i called LG and they came out the next couple of days and found that the compressor had failed and replaced it free of charge as it was still under factory warranty. I will always buy LG products after this.
